Washington Wizards guard John Wall was ejected from Monday night's game against the Houston Rockets after he bumped an official and picked up his second technical foul of the game.

Down 111-106 with less than a minute left in the game, Wall bumped into official Marc Davis on his way back to the bench before the ejection.

Asked why Wall was ejected, Davis provided this answer: "For inappropriate language and using vulgarity toward a game official. He already received his first technical foul. After granting the team a timeout, I felt that there was contact and that he bumped me. I wasn't certain of his intent. I told him to watch himself. He looked over his shoulder and used vulgarity and inappropriate language and was ejected on his second technical foul."

Despite the 114-106 loss, which dropped the Wizards to 1-5, Wall made a bit of history in the process. Wall became the Wizards' all-time leader in assists, passing Wes Unseld's mark, but his ejection likely spoiled the night.
