Reports: $500,000 stolen from Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young's home

Burglars swiped about $500,000 in valuables from Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young’s Southern California house last month, according to multiple reports on Thursday.
LAPD spokesperson Drake Madison confirmed to Paste BN Sports that detectives are investigating a break-in thought to have occurred between Feb. 18-19 on the same block in Tarzana where Young lives. TMZ, the first outlet to report the theft, and The Los Angeles Times reported it was Young’s house that was the one that was burglarized.

The break-in took place as Young was in New Orleans for NBA All-Star festivities, where Young took part in the 3-point competition.
Madison said LAPD's Commercial Crimes Division --- the same part of the department that has handled other major thefts of athletes and celebrities in recent weeks --- is on the case.
Burglars stole at least $170,000 worth of jewelry and other goods from Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig in February. The homes of former Lakers guard Derek Fisher along with musicians Alanis Morissette and Nicki Minaj have also been hit.
