The NBA fined Milwaukee Bucks center Greg Monroe $35,000, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young $25,000 and Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell $15,000 for their roles in an altercation during Milwaukee’s 107-103 victory Friday in Los Angeles.

All three received technical fouls and were ejected. Monroe was dinged financially for “shoving Young above the shoulders,” and Young was fined for “initiating the altercation by shoving Bucks guard Malcolm Brogdon.” Russell was docked for “entering the altercation and pushing Monroe,” according to a news release from the league.

It happened with 36 remaining in the third quarter.

The incident left Lakers coach Luke Walton fuming.

"D'Angelo only responded after Monroe had grabbed Nick by the neck and thrown him," an angry Walton said. "If D'Angelo didn't push him, I would have been (ticked) off at D'Angelo. He did the right thing."
