The New York Knicks have quietly exercised team president Phil Jackson’s two-year option, according to a published report on Thursday.

Jackson and the Knicks were in the third year of a five-year deal, although each had an out after Year 3. Knicks owner James Dolan had previously stated that he planned to honor all five years, and ESPN reported that the option was indeed picked up in recent weeks.
