Reports: Nuggets, Gary Harris agree on four-year, $84 million extension

The Denver Nuggets and guard Gary Harris have agreed on a contract extension that will pay the 23-year-old $84 million over four years, according to multiple reports published Saturday night.
Paste BN Sports confirmed the details of extension late Saturday night.
Nuggets general manager Arturas Karnisovas told The Denver Post on Thursday that a contract was "in the works" and that the Nuggets were looking to keep Harris in Denver "as long as" they can.
Harris, who was drafted with the 19th overall pick in 2014, is coming off the best season of his career. He averaged 14.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.9 assists and shot 50.2% from the field and 42% from three while emerging as a franchise cornerstone alongside budding star Nikola Jokic.
ESPN was first to report the contract agreement.
