Metta World Peace will resume his basketball career in the Big3, the 3-on-3 professional basketball league announced in a news release on Monday.
World Peace, formerly Ron Artest, played 16 seasons in the NBA, including six with the Los Angeles Lakers. He played 25 games with the Lakers last season, and it was announced last month that he’d serve as a player development coach with the club’s G League affiliate.
World Peace, who turned 38 on Monday, will join Chauncey Billups and former Indiana Pacers teammate Stephen Jackson on the Killer 3s.
