Emerging stars Antetokounmpo, Embiid see jersey sales spike around holiday season

Two of the NBA's brightest young stars have also been among the league's top merchandise-sellers this holiday season.
Milwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo and Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid rank fourth and fifth, respectively, in terms of player-specific merchandise sales on Fanatics.com since Black Friday, according to data provided to Paste BN Sports on Tuesday afternoon.
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry has been the top-selling player on the site this holiday season, followed by Cleveland Cavaliers forward LeBron James and Warriors forward Kevin Durant.

But Antetokounmpo and Embiid, who are both 23, are right behind them.
Fanatics spokesperson Brandon Williams wrote in an e-mail that Embiid has seen a dramatic spike in sales on the site compared to the same time period last season, with nearly three times as many jerseys, T-shirts and related merchandise sold. Antetokounmpo's sales have risen more than 150 percent, Williams added.
The two players ranked No. 21 and No. 10 among NBA players during the same time period a year ago.
