A New York man has been arrested after sending a threatening email to NBA Commissioner Adam Silver last July.

The New York Post reports David Pyant, 27, of Queens, was charged Friday with aggravated harassment for the message he addressed to Silver and sent to the league office in New York.

Pyant demanded that Silver allow him to play in the NBA. "If you don't let me play, I'm going to come up there and kill you with my f---ing gun," he wrote, according to TMZ

Pyant has previously served time in prison for robbery and has 13 prior arrests, authorities told the Post.
