The Warriors took the lead in this first-round clash after a 104-93 victory in Game 3. Although they were without Jimmy Butler, who is sidelined due to a pelvis injury, Golden State managed to secure the win thanks to an outstanding performance by Steph Curry. Curry totaled 36 points, seven rebounds, and nine assists, while Buddy Hield came off the bench to add 17 points in the Game 3 victory.

Randy Chambers writes: "The Warriors are going to be favored because they’re at home and the more experienced team that helps this time of year. However, I still like the Rockets and the points. There’s a decent chance Butler doesn’t play again and it’s putting a lot of pressure on Curry to be great while logging heavy minutes. The Rockets are still the deeper, younger team and that will be an advantage the longer this series goes. Also, the Rockets had their chances to win game 3 and even led most of that game. If Green decides to show up, the Rockets are capable of stealing this game. Give me the points."

The first-round NBA playoff series between the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets will begin Sunday, April 20, continuing through at least Sunday, May 4.
