The Pacers — again — stunned the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Indiana erased a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter and scored the game’s final eight points within 58 seconds to take Game 2 on Tuesday night, 120-119. And with that, the Pacers now take a commanding 2-0 lead in the NBA playoffs second-round series as it heads to Indiana.

The Pacers chipped away at the late lead behind a driving layup by forward Pascal Siakam that closed the margin to three points with 28 seconds left. But the Cavaliers failed to inbound the ball as guard Max Strus lobbed a pass that Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard easily intercepted.

Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton, playing with an injured left wrist, then was fouled on a drive. He made the first free throw, closing the deficit to two points. Haliburton recovered his own rebound, reset the offense and then laced a step-back 3-pointer with 1.1 seconds left.

With no timeouts left, the Cavaliers were unable to advance the ball.

The loss spoiled a 48-point, nine-assist masterpiece from Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, while the Pacers had six players reach double figures; forward Aaron Nesmith and center Myles Turner led the way with 23 points apiece.

The Cavaliers were missing three key players — Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and De'Andre Hunter.

Game 3 is in Indianapolis on Friday (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN).
