The NBA didn't even wait for the Oklahoma City Thunder to be crowned champions to start wheeling and dealing, kick-starting an active offseason that could offer more twists Wednesday, June 25 when the 2025 NBA draft begins.

The draft order has already changed in the days leading into the draft because of major trades that should shake up the league landscape heading into the 2025-26 season. Kevin Durant, Desmond Bane, Jrue Holiday, Jalen Green and Anfernee Simons are among the players on the move, and several of those deals included picks in this year's draft. The Phoenix Suns, Memphis Grizzlies and New Orleans Pelicans each added 2025 first-round picks through trade over the past week and seven teams have multiple first-round picks this year, including the Brooklyn Nets with four.

The Dallas Mavericks hold the No. 1 selection and are expected to take Duke's Cooper Flagg. Rutgers guard Dylan Harper is considered the likely No. 2 pick by the San Antonio Spurs, but the events leading up to this year's draft suggest there could be plenty of swerves from there.

Here's a look at the updated draft order for the first and second rounds of the 2025 NBA draft:
