Rajon Rondo has been suspended one game by the Chicago Bulls for "conduct detrimental to the team," the Bulls announced in a news release Monday morning.

The veteran point guard will serve his one-game suspension Monday night, when the Bulls host the Portland Trail Blazers at the United Center.

Rondo, currently in his first season with Chicago, is averaging 8.2 points, 7.2 assists and 6.1 rebounds in 30.5 minutes. He recorded a triple-double in Friday's night game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rondo was most recently suspended December of last season for "directing a derogatory and offensive term towards a game official and not leaving the court in a timely manner upon his ejection.”
