A vehicle crashed into the Chicago Bulls' training facility, the Advocate Center, around 5:20 a.m. local time on Friday morning, the Chicago Police Department confirmed to Paste BN Sports.
Chicago Police Department spokesman Jose Astrada said a multiple-vehicle automobile occurred and the post-impact of the accident led to one car striking the Advocate Center.
According to police, a female driver was issued citations for disobeying a red light on West Madison Street in Chicago and instigating the car crash; she attempted to go around a male driver after the blown red light, and in doing so, crashed into the building.
The Advocate Center, which opened in 2014, is located next to the Bulls' home arena, the United Center.
