Clippers to offer 'Star Courtside' seats for a hefty price

The Los Angeles Clippers are taking Hollywood seats, and pricing, to another level.
The organization has removed its scorer's table to create eight new "Star Courtside" seats on the floor — and on the same side as the player benches during Clippers games. But according to ESPN, those seats come with a hefty price tag of $175,000.

"It's extremely rare to have space like this open in any arena," Clippers president Gillian Zucker said, via ESPN. "What we did here was create new beachfront property."
Zucker said current courtside ticket-holders will have the first opportunity to buy those seats before the team opens it to the public.
ESPN reported that the price tag would include in-seat waiter service, valet parking and access to a VIP entrance.
