Memphis Grizzlies sign former Nuggets center PJ Hall to two-way contract
The Memphis Grizzlies signed former Denver Nuggets center PJ Hall to a two-way contract on July 20.
The terms of the deal were not revealed. In a related move, the Grizzlies waived two-way guard Zyon Pullin.
The Nuggets released the 6-foot-8, 240-pound Hall this offseason after signing him to a two-way contract with the organization after the 2024 NBA Draft. He was playing for the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Las Vegas Summer League when the Grizzlies signed him. He averaged 9.2 points, 5.6 rebounds, one assist and 1.6 blocks in 13.7 minutes.
Hall started all 20 of his Showcase Cup and regular- season appearances with the G League's Grand Rapids Gold last season, averaging 18.9 points, 11.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.1 blocks in 32 minutes. He increased his averages to 19.2 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 31.5 minutes in 13 games during the regular season.
Hall, 23, played in 19 games with the Nuggets last season, averaging 1.7 points and 1.2 rebounds in 3.5 minutes as a rookie. He attended Clemson, where he earned first-team All-ACC honors and finished third in ACC Player of the Year voting in his senior season.
