Cody Zeller agrees with Hornets on four-year, $56 million extension
The Charlotte Hornets and forward/center Cody Zeller have agreed to terms on a four-year, $56 million extension, two people familiar with the deal told Paste BN Sports.
They requested anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly until the deal is official.
Zeller is off to a solid start, averaging 10.7 points and five rebounds and shooting 61.1% from the field. Zeller has turned into a capable two-way player for Charlotte
Given the rising salary cap, this is a good deal for the Hornets who have front-court depth. It also gives the improving Zeller security.
