Nets' Jeremy Lin out 3-5 more weeks with hamstring injury

Brooklyn Nets point guard Jeremy Lin is expected to miss the next 3-5 weeks after re-aggravating his strained left hamstring during the course of his rehab, the team announced Monday morning.
As if their season hasn't been bad enough.
Lin, who signed a three-year, $36 million contract with the Nets over the summer, has played in just 12 games this season due to the injury. He's averaging 13.9 points (on a career-high 46.9% shooting), 5.8 assists and 3.3 rebounds.

"We understand and appreciate Jeremy’s competitive desire to get back on the court with his teammates, however, we are going to be cautious with his rehab in order to ensure that he is at full strength once he returns,” Nets general manager Sean Marks said in a statement.
The Nets (9-34) have the worst record in the NBA.
