New York Knicks close training center after three employees test positive for COVID-19
Three employees of the New York Knicks have tested positive for COVID-19, the team announced Tuesday night.
In a statement posted on Twitter, the Knicks said the positive tests showed up in routine screenings.
"They are all systematic and currently under quarantine," the team said of the individuals who have tested positive.
The team said the MSG Training Center is temporarily closed for a thorough cleaning.
It was not know if these positive tests were among players or other members of the organization.
Earlier Tuesday, it was announced that the NBA season will begin on Dec. 22 and teams will play a 72-game schedule.
