Will Cavaliers' Darius Garland, Evan Mobley and De'Andre Hunter play vs. Pacers in Game 3?
INDIANAPOLIS -- Cavaliers All-Stars Evan Mobley and Darius Garland, and top reserve De'Andre Hunter are all listed as questionable for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference semifinals against the Pacers on Friday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse. All three missed Game 2.
Pacers All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who injured his left wrist in the second quarter of Game 2, was wearing a wrap on the wrist at practice Thursday but is not on the injury report.
Garland averaged 20.6 points and 6.7 assists per game this season but has been out with a left great toe sprain since Game 3 of the Cavaliers' first-round series against the Heat. Mobley, the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year, averaged 18.5 points, 9.3 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game this season. He sprained his left ankle in Game 1. Hunter, who averaged 14.3 points per game since being acquired from the Hawks at the trade deadline, sprained his right thumb.
What Kenny Atkinson said about Cavaliers' injuries ahead of Game 3
During practice on Thursday — which Cavs coach Kenny Atkinson said was a "shootaround basically" — all three took part.
"They all touched the ball," Atkinson said. "They all got some reps up, but we didn't do anything live. They kind of participated in the walk through, and (we're) hoping for the best."
