Anthony Davis has been fined for his actions after being ejected from the New Orleans Pelicans game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday.
The league announced Friday that Davis will be fined $25,000 for yelling at the official and not leaving the court in a timely manner following the ejection.
Davis had to be restrained by teammates after the call.
Davis received his second technical foul of the game and was ejected with 4:11 remaining in the second quarter of the Pelicans’ 120-102 loss to the Timberwolves at Smoothie King Center.
Davis was poised to have a big game, having scored 17 and grabbing five rebounds at that point in the game.
