Stephen Curry turns ankle in first half of Game 1, questionable for Game 2

Stephen Curry is listed as questionable for Game 2 of the playoffs on Monday night after turning his surgically-repaired right ankle late in the first half of Game 1 on Saturday against the Houston Rockets.

The injury occurred when he landed awkwardly on his ankle in the second quarter. He walked gingerly around the court, but was eventually taken to the locker room after examination on the bench. He returned to the game at the start of the second half with his ankle re-taped and appeared to be OK, but went back to the locker room for a second time after spending just under three minutes back on the floor.

He returned to the bench in the fourth quarter and was listed as available to return, but in the postgame press conference, coach Steve Kerr said he will be questionable for Monday's contest.

The Warriors won 104-78 with Curry sitting out for the majority of the second half, and you can expect them to err on the side of caution when it comes to the health of their MVP point guard moving forward in the series.
