Stephen Curry doesn't practice Sunday, questionable for Game 2 Monday
Stephen Curry — who turned his ankle late in the second quarter against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night — didn't practice on Sunday, and coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Curry is doing better.
After Saturday's game, Curry said he will play in Game 2.
“Right now I don't see a scenario where I'll be out,” Curry said after the game. “Obviously, if it's not right and at risk of further injury or whatnot, that's the only thing that I think we have to worry about. Pain tolerance and all that stuff, I kind of know what I can deal with on the court, but you don't want anything more serious to happen favoring an ankle or whatnot. So that's what we'll pay attention to the next few days.”
Kerr still listed his MVP point guard as questionable.
Curry only played 20 minutes in Game 1, but the Warriors won 104-78. Game 2 is scheduled for Monday, April 18 at 10:30 pm ET.
