The San Antonio Spurs got awful news on the injury front when Tony Parker was ruled out for the rest of the playoffs, and now the Houston Rockets can feel their pain.
Center Nene suffered a left adductor (groin) tear and is out for the rest of the postseason, the Rockets announced Monday morning. Nene suffered the injury just minutes into Sunday's Game 4 vs. the Spurs, which the Rockets went on to win 125-104. The series is knotted at 2-2 with Game 5 on Tuesday night in San Antonio.

Nene was averaging 10 points and 4.7 rebounds in close to 18 minutes a game. Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni opted to play forward Ryan Anderson as the team's backup center behind Clint Capela.
