Joel Embiid: Terry Rozier 'tried to punch me twice' during scuffle, but he's 'so short'

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid didn't mince words when he was asked about his on-court scuffle with Boston Celtics guard Terry Rozier.
"He kept the ball away from me and tried to punch me twice," Embiid said Monday night following Philadelphia's Game 4 win over Boston. "Too bad he's so short that he couldn't get to my face."
Embiid, for what it's worth, has about 10 inches on Rozier.
A double-technical was issued after the incident, which occurred in the second quarter when Embiid attempted to take the ball away from Rozier after a whistle. The two players got tangled up and exchanged shoves before being separated by officials and teammates.
"I didn't understand why it was a double-technical because I was just trying to get the ball and he was the one trying to swing," Embiid said.
The Sixers avoided being swept with the win, but they still have a ways to go, down 3-1 with the series headed back to Boston for Game 5 on Wednesday.
