Terrence Ross agrees to deal with Raptors just before deadline
The Toronto Raptors reached an agreement on a three-year contract extension worth nearly $33 million with fourth-year small forward Terrence Ross just minutes before the league-issued deadline on Monday night, a person with knowledge of the situation told Paste BN Sports.
The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the terms of such deals are not typically made public.
Ross, who averaged 9.8 points per game last season and shot 37.2% from three-point range, is clearly seen by Raptors management as a key part of this team that has started this season 3-0 with wins against Milwaukee, Boston and Indiana. The 24-year-old was drafted eighth overall out of the University of Washington in 2012.
