Report: 76ers rookie Jahlil Okafor pulled over for reckless driving three weeks ago

Philadelphia 76ers rookie Jahlil Okafor was pulled over by police three weeks ago for driving 108 miles per hour on the Ben Franklin Bridge, which connects Philadelphia and Camden, N.J., according to a report by The Philadelphia Inquirer.

Anything over 40 on the bridge is considered reckless driving.

The report continues what has been a rocky off-court start to Okafor's NBA career. Last week, he allegedly threw a man to the ground outside a nightclub in Boston, admitting that "it was definitely dumb on my part" and something "that I am embarrassed about."

The Inquirer also reported that in October Okafor had a gun pointed at him after arguing with heckler at a club.

Okafor, who is averaging 18 points and eight rebounds through 17 games, has been one of the NBA's top rookies this season after being drafted third overall in June.
