The Phoenix Suns officially announced the signing of former EuroLeague standout Nigel Hayes-Davis.

Reports surfaced soon after the NBA free agency period opened on June 30 that the Suns would be signing Hayes-Davis, 30, to a guaranteed one-year deal. The Suns confirmed the signing in a news release on July 25, but did not release contract terms.

The 6-foot-8, 235-pound forward earned All-EuroLeague First Team honors each of the last two seasons while playing for Fenerbahce Istanbul. He was named EuroLeague Final Four MVP this past season after leading Fenerbahce to a EuroLeague championship.

He averaged 16.7 points on 45.6% from the field and 41.0% from three-point range, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 39 EuroLeague regular season games last season, according to the release. Fenerbahce won the Turkish League and Turkish Cup titles in 2024 and 2025.

Hayes-Davis, who played college basketball at Wisconsin, competed the past seven seasons overseas. He holds the EuroLeague record for most points scored in a game, 50, on March 29, 2024, against Alba Berlin, the release said.

At Wisconsin, he helped lead the Badgers to two straight Sweet 16 appearances in 2016 and 2017, and was a 2016 All-Big Ten First Team selection.

He joined New York Knicks' summer league team in 2017 as an undrafted free agent following his senior season. In 2018, Davis played for the G League team Westchester Knicks, the Los Angeles Lakers, the Toronto Raptors and their G League affiliate Raptors 905 and the Sacramento Kings. He named to the NBA G League All-Rookie Team in 2018.
