Bradley Beal could play for Washington Saturday

Bradley Beal has a bruised left knee and could play in the Washington Wizards game Saturday vs. the Detroit Pistons, according to a person with knowledge of his injury.

The person spoke to Paste BN Sports on the condition of anonymity because the team had not released the news.

Beal had an MRI Saturday. He was injured Friday in the Wizards ' 120-98 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. X-rays after the game were negative.

The team wants to see him move around pregame before deciding if he'll play against Detroit..
