Washington Wizards assistant coach Mike Batiste approaches heckling fan near end of loss to Miami Heat

After their eighth loss in nine games, frustrations are beginning to show with the Washington Wizards.
In the final minutes of the team's 121-100 home loss to the Miami Heat on Monday, Wizards assistant coach Mike Batiste was seen leaving the bench to approach a fan in the stands.
Batiste made his way toward a heckling fan, but was cut off by Wizards players Montrezl Harrell, Thomas Bryant and others before the situation could get worse.
No physical contact was made and Batiste was quickly escorted to the tunnel and to the locker room.
"I was kind of at the scorers' table, so I turned around after I think it kind of began," Wizards head coach Wes Unseld Jr. said. "To my understanding, a fan or several fans said something that was out of line.

"Obviously, we have to take the high road and just can't indulge in that. I think it was a situation where something was said that was a bit over the line and I think it got the best of one of our coaches. Either way, you have to take the high road."
The Wizards, 24-29, currently are the 11th seed in the Eastern Conference. They sit one game behind the Atlanta Hawks for the last playoff spot.
