Peyton Siva joked he almost thought Ware was going to sub in for him when the injured player got up as Louisville fell behind in the second half. Luke Hancock said Ware got the whole team going against Wichita State.

Louisville injured star Kevin Ware gave his team inspiration in the Cardinals' Elite Eight victory over Duke last week after suffering one of the most traumatic sports injuries to date.
Ware was still inspiring on Saturday.
He joined the Louisville huddle in a sequence that prompted several players to look at Ware with wide eyes.
"He told us we had to pick it up and, obviously, we listened," teammate Wayne Blackshear said.
"I just couldn't sit anymore," Ware said after the game. "They were kind of like, 'how'd you get out here?'"
