Carey's Knight named NAIA Coach of the Year

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) — William Carey men's basketball coach Steve Knight has been named the 2013-14 NAIA Coach of the Year.

This season, Knight has led the Crusaders to a 27-2 record and into the NAIA Men's National Tournament for the ninth time in his career.

The Hattiesburg American reports (http://hatne.ws/1j2w2rA ) Knight is in his 32nd season with William Carey and sports a career record of 564 wins and 426 losses, making him the eighth winningest active coach in the NAIA.
