March Madness: Three things to know about NCAA tournament on Wednesday

1. WACKY WISCONSIN: The Badgers have arrived in Los Angeles for the West Region semifinals and brought their fun-loving style with them. Today Wisconsin returns to the practice day podium today, where moments like this instant classic from Saturday may ensue. The Badgers may or may not reach the NCAA Final Four — resurgent North Carolina and perhaps stout Arizona stand in the way — but regardless of their fate, they're determined to enjoy every step of the way.

2. NOT WACKY: Kentucky freshman Karl-Anthony Towns might be the first pick in June's NBA draft, and he might have someone who's never been seen and will never be seen to thank. That would be "Little Karlito", the alter ego who lives on a little chip on Towns' big shoulders. It's not wacky or weird if it works.

3. POSSIBLY WACKY: Anybody who is re-picking the bracket starting with the Sweet Sixteen has company with Nancy Armour. Like a few others, she sees potential in Michigan State. The Spartans play Oklahoma on Friday in the East Region semis. College basketball followers in Paste BN Sports' network do, too.
