Saturday's spotlight games

Notre Dame at No. 5 Virginia (ESPN2, 5 ET): The Cavaliers aren’t as fine-tuned as they were in the last two seasons (in which they won ACC titles), but Virginia is still among the favorites to win the league thanks to strong play of All-American Malcolm Brogdon and the development of point guard London Perrantes. Notre Dame has lost three games it should have won (Monmouth, Alabama and Indiana) but will get a chance to prove itself plenty in the ACC.
No. 9 Iowa State at No. 2 Oklahoma (ESPN2, 7 ET): First-year Cyclones coach Steve Prohm inherited a roster good enough to reach the Final Four. Georges Niang and Co. have been on track, and they’ll face another Final Four-caliber team in the Sooners, who are 11-0 and led by player-of-the-year candidate Buddy Hield. Both of these teams are good enough to finally dethrone Kansas in the Big 12, and this game will be telling
