at No. 10 Providence (17-3)

The extra day in Philadelphia was worth it for the Friars as they earned a huge overtime victory against Villanova, snapping the Wildcats' 22-game Big East winning streak in the process.
On the down side, they now have a shorter turnaround for this clash with yet another top-10 team. The Musketeers rebounded from a midweek loss to Georgetown with a home triumph against Seton Hall.
TOP 25: Tuesday's schedule
Xavier PG Edmond Sumner is back in the starting lineup after missing three games with a concussion. But Myles Davis proved he could run the point effectively in his absence, and now both can be utilized as needed.
They'll both have to contribute as they match up with the Friars' Kris Dunn. Wingman Trevon Bluiett is the Musketeers' primary scoring option.
James Farr can produce inside points as well, but his defense will be even more valuable to counter Providence's interior finishers, Ben Bentil and Rodney Bullock.
