OVERVIEW: Regular-season champion Stony Brook, which has reached the conference title game four of the last five years, will try to get to the NCAA tournament for the first time. Stony Brook is led by 6-8 senior forward Jameel Warney, who averages a double-double (18.7 points, 10.2 rebounds) and has asserted himself as one of the best big men in the country. Trying to stop the Seawolves will be Albany, which has taken the America East’s tournament bid the last three seasons. Stony Brook and Albany split their season series, with each team winning on its home court.
