Defending NCAA tournament champ Villanova replaces Kentucky atop the Paste BN Sports coaches poll. The Wildcats have 28 of 32 first-place votes. UCLA, the team responsible for ousting the other Wildcats with a win in Lexington, vaults to No. 2 and has one first-place nod.

Kansas, also with a single No. 1 vote, leapfrogs Duke into the No. 3 spot, though the Blue Devils have the remaining two firsts. North Carolina rounds out the top five, slipping two positions after a midweek loss at No. 9 Indiana.
UK slips to No. 7 behind unbeaten Baylor, which continues to pile up quality non-conference victories.
