This time, the shuffling in the Paste BN Sports men’s college basketball coaches poll went all the way to the top.

Gonzaga, the last unbeaten squad in Division I, is the new No. 1 team. The Bulldogs received 24 of 32 first-place votes and top the rankings for the first time since a three-week stretch in March of 2013.

The 'Zags are not unanimous, however; previous No. 1 Kansas held on to seven firsts after Saturday’s win at Kentucky. But the Jayhawks slip to No. 2 overall after a loss earlier in the week at West Virginia, which checks in at No. 12. Baylor, who will play at KU Wednesday night, is No. 3. Villanova follows at No. 4 and picked up the last No. 1 vote. Red-hot Arizona vaulted four positions to round out the top five.

In a bit of a surprise given all the upsets last week, no new teams entered the poll. Northwestern ran its winning streak to six on Sunday by downing Indiana. But the Wildcats must settle for leading the group of other teams receiving votes as Xavier held on at No. 25.
