Undefeated Gonzaga once again No. 1 in coaches poll
Things were fairly quiet on the upset front in men’s college basketball last week, resulting in few changes at the top of the Paste BN Sports coaches poll.
Unbeaten Gonzaga continues to hold down the No. 1 spot, followed by Villanova and Kansas. The Bulldogs again received 29 of 32 first-place votes, with the Wildcats claiming the other three. The Jayhawks held steady after completing a season sweep of Baylor that all but locked up yet another Big 12 regular-season crown.
COACHES POLL: Full top 25 rankings
The Baylor loss to KU created the only opening in the top five. That was filled by Pac-12 leader Arizona, which vaulted into the fourth spot ahead of league rival UCLA. Louisville checks in at No. 6, followed by Oregon ad North Carolina. Baylor slips to ninth and Kentucky rounds out the top 10. No. 25 Wichita State is the lone newcomer to the poll this week, replacing South Carolina.
