Final Four weekend will feature 3-on-3 basketball tournament
The Final Four weekend is getting even more basketball.
A new 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be showcased during the 2018 Final Four in San Antonio, Intersport announced Tuesday. The company already operates the College Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships.
The 3-on-3 College Hoops Invitational will put players who have exhausted their NCAA eligibility into conference All-Star teams. For instance, the All-Big Ten 3-on-3 squad vs. the All-Big 12 3-on-3 squad.

According to the company statement, teams will be competing for a $100,000 prize pool, and international rules will be used.
"For fans, this will be an opportunity to see the nation’s top seniors compete in the unique 3-on-3 format," Drew Russell, Intersport's vice president of sports properties, said in a statement.
Should their respective teams not make the Final Four, the ACC seems to have a nice 3-on-3 team that could be made up of graduating seniors in Duke's Grayson Allen, Notre Dame's Bonze Colston and North Carolina's Joel Berry.
