Selection Sunday is only a few days away and March Madness is just around the corner.

The 2023 men's and women's NCAA basketball tournaments tip off next week. Will a college basketball blue blood cut down the nets after a championship campaign? Will future NBA or WNBA draft picks boost their stock with stellar tournament performances? Will you fill out a perfect bracket?

Before the much-anticipated action can get underway, there are brackets that need to be built. Conference tournaments are ongoing to determine automatic bids and the NCAA will shape the rest of the tournament field before the postseason action gets underway.

When is Selection Sunday 2023?

Selection Sunday is March 12. The men's selection show will be broadcast at 6 p.m. ET on CBS. The women's portion will take place afterward at 8 p.m. ET on ESPN.

The complete 68-team fields for both the men's and women's tournaments will be revealed during the broadcast, including the top seeds and play-in games.

When do the NCAA tournaments start?

The men's First Four takes place March 14 and 15 in Dayton, Ohio. First-round action kicks off March 16 at the various regional sites. Meanwhile, the women's First Four is scheduled for March 15 and 16 with the first round set to begin March 17.

How many teams make the NCAA tournament?

Both the men's and women's tournaments feature 68-team fields.

When is the Final Four?

The 2023 men's Final Four will take place April 1 at NRG Stadium in Houston. The national championship is scheduled for April 3. Fans can watch the men's final and seminal games on CBS.

Meanwhile, the women's Final Four is set for March 31 at American Airlines Center in Dallas and will be broadcast on ESPN. The national championship will be held April 2 and can be seen on ABC.
