With the regular seasons coming to a close in men's and women's college basketball, the greatest postseason tournaments are not too far in the distance.

Welcome to March Madness – well, not exactly. There still remain eight days in February before the calendar rolls over to March.

A tournament format that is like no other, conference champions and at-large teams will compete in a single-elimination format over four weeks in hopes of hoisting a national championship trophy at the Alamodome and Amalie Arena.

Who will it be on the men's side? Will Liam McNeeley and Solo Ball help lead UConn to becoming the first team to win three consecutive national championships since John Wooden's UCLA Bruins? Or will one of the SEC's top-ranked teams – Auburn, Tennessee and Alabama – win the conference's first national championship title in more than a decade.

Who will it be on the women's side? Will South Carolina and Dawn Staley be the first team to go back-to-back since UConn from 2014-2016? Or will Lauren Betts lead UCLA to their first national championship title in program history? Or could an evolving UConn team led by Paige Bueckers get over the hump and win its first national title since 2016?

Here's what you need to know regarding the 2025 March Madness tournaments, including where the men's and women's basketball tournaments will be held and more:
