March Madness odds: Betting favorites to win men's 2025 NCAA Tournament bracket

It's Selection Sunday! The men's college basketball conference tournaments have come and gone. We know who's hot, who's not, who's hurt, and who's coming back for the final stretch. However, the most important question, "Who is going to win the tournament?" is still a mystery to most people.
Sure, we might have some semblance of who should win. We know Duke is fantastic. Auburn has been great all year. The SEC alone could have several Elite Eight or even Final Four teams, but we don't know for sure and we don't know who. March Madness is notorious for destroying people's expectations, as is the nature of such a large, single-elimination tournament.
Still, some teams have a much better chance of winning than others. Nobody can predict the future quite like oddsmakers, so if you're looking to correctly predict the NCAA champion on your bracket, the first step toward creating a perfect bracket, you might want to know who oddsmakers are giving the best odds to.
Per BetMGM, here are the teams with the best odds of winning the 2025 March Madness Tournament.

What are the odds of a perfect bracket?
Is this the year you pick the perfect NCAA bracket? I'm here to tell you there's a chance, but it's not a good one.
The odds of predicting a perfect March Madness bracket depends on how much you know about college basketball. As NCAA.com explained in 2023, you've got roughly a 1 in 120 billion chance of a perfect bracket if you know your stuff.
And if you don't? Flip a coin for each matchup for a staggering 1 in 9.2 quintillion chance to ace your predictions. That's a lot of zeroes, and likely a lot of misses.
When does March Madness begin?
The tournament starts with the First Four contests, slated for Tuesday, March 18. The Round of 64 will take place between March 20 and 21 with the Final Four set for April 5 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. The championship game will also be played at the Alamodome on April 7.
