Men's March Madness tickets prices for First Four: Where to buy, how much it costs

As it has since 2011, the men's NCAA Tournament starts in Dayton, Ohio.

Eight teams look to play into the first round of the NCAA Tournament with a First Four win, which has been held in Dayton since 2011. The former one-game play-in, which was held from 2001-10, was also held at UD Arena at the University of Dayton.

The eight teams in the First Four consist of the last four at-large bids and last four automatic qualifiers, as determined by the NCAA Tournament committee that ranks teams from 0-68 on Selection Sunday.

First Four teams have also seen success in past seasons, with VCU (2011) and UCLA (2021) making runs to the Final Four after playing in the play-in. Fairleigh Dickinson, a First Four team in 2023, also became the second-ever 16 seed to down a 1 seed (Purdue), and the only First Four team to hold that distinction.

  • Ticketmaster: $156 apiece
  • SeatGeek: $125 apiece
  • Vivid Seats: $108 each

First Four tickets for the 2025 NCAA Tournament can be purchased through Ticketmaster, with the lowest price at $40 a ticket, with the highest up to $100 in standard pricing.

Verified resale tickets can reach much higher prices, with the most expensive in the arena up to $500. First Four games have separate tickets, without passes that allow for access to all four games.

The men's First Four will be played out across Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19. The game times have yet to be determined, but they will be played out at UD Arena on the campus of the University of Dayton in Ohio.
