And then there were fewer.
What started out as a 68-team field with the First Four on Tuesday, has now been whittled down to 32 teams entering the second round of the 2025 men's NCAA Tournament. The remaining field has plenty of the usual suspects to challenge for the national title, with each of the No. 1 seeds in Auburn, Duke, Houston and Florida handling their business.
As there are every year, however, several double-digit seeds found their way into the second round, including such notable bracket-busters as No. 12 seeds McNeese and Colorado State, No. 11 seed Drake and No. 10 seeds Arkansas and Kentucky.
That all leads to Saturday and Sunday's second-round play, with each day seeing eight games' worth of action. Here's what to know of the updated bracket and schedule:
