Maryland vs Florida men's basketball score, highlights: Gators move on to Elite Eight

One of the top Sweet 16 games in the NCAA Tournament is set to take place in the West Region on Thursday between two top teams from the Big Ten and SEC.
No. 1 seed Florida and No. 4 seed Maryland will play for a trip to the Elite Eight on Thursday in the Sweet 16 of the West Regional at the Chase Center in San Francisco.
It is the first trip to the Sweet 16 for Florida since 2017, and the first for Maryland since 2016.
The winner of Thursday's game will get the winner of No. 3 seed Texas Tech and No. 10 seed Arkansas in the Elite Eight on Saturday, March 29, for a trip to the Final Four and San Antonio.

Alex Condon injury update
Florida sophomore forward Alex Condon left the first half of the Sweet 16 game against Maryland with a right ankle injury. His return is questionable, and TBS courtside reporter Lauren Shehadi said the team was being "extra cautious" and was taking "precautionary X-rays." As the team returned to the floor before the start of the second half, Condon joined them and took some shots. When play resumed, Condon went back to the tunnel to the locker room, where he remained trying to get loose.
