NIT bracket: Updated schedule, where to watch men's semifinal, championship games
The semifinals of the men's NIT (National Invitational Tournament) have been set, with the championship game taking place on Thursday.
UC Irvine, North Texas, Chattanooga and Loyola Chicago are all 3-0 at the NIT, and each team has reached the semifinals in different ways. UC Irvine, which narrowly missed on an NCAA Tournament bid, is a 1 seed in the tournament, while North Texas is a 2 seed. Loyola Chicago and Chattanooga are unseeded.
There have been much more upsets in the NIT than the men's NCAA Tournament, which has a Final Four comprised entirely of No. 1 seeds.
