ACC: Conference tournament preview

ACC

BEGINS: Tuesday

CHAMPIONSHIP: Saturday, 9 p.m. ET, ESPN

WHERE: Verizon Center, Washington, D.C.

OVERVIEW: The ACC always delivers one of the more intense, intriguing conference tournaments. This year should be no different. North Carolina took down Duke last Saturday to become the ACC regular-season champion for the first time in four years.. The Tar Heels will look to win the tournament for the first time in seven years. From ACC player of the year, Malcolm Brogdon of Virginia, to Duke’s duo of Grayson Allen and Brandon Ingram, to UNC’s Brice Johnson, as well as NC State’s Cat Barber, the ACC has a bounty of talented NBA prospects that will play a huge factor in the tournament. Miami boasts ACC coach of the year, Jim Larrañaga, and could also be a threat.
