Maryland's Diamond Stone dribbles Wisconsin player's head
Maryland freshman star Diamond Stone mixed football and basketball in the closing minutes of the Terrapins' first-half clash against Wisconsin.
First. he tackled Wisconsin's Vitto Brown, underneath the basket. Then, he dribbled Brown's head, forcing a small melee.
Stone was given a dead-ball technical foul (but not a flagrant 2), as was Wisconsin's Charlie Thomas, for retaliation.
In the end, the teams exchanged free throws and Stone stayed in the game. According to ESPN, officials said because the shove was made with an open hand, rather than a fist, it did not bring an ejection.
The Badgers led 36-21 at the half.
