Michigan State forward Miles Bridges will play Sunday against Wisconsin after being cleared by the NCAA.

The decision comes one day after his mother was mentioned in a Yahoo Sports story detailing federal documents that are part of an investigation into corruption in college basketball.

An expense report from Christian Dawkins, a former runner for agents, claims a $400 advance to Bridges’ mother, Cynthia.

In a statement, Michigan State interim athletic director Bill Beekman said the school conducted a “thorough internal review” and “presented its findings to the NCAA, and Miles Bridges has been cleared for competition moving forward.”
