Bowl predictions from BCS title game to New Mexico
It's a feast of college football as 35 games spread over 24 days will conclude the 2012 season.
The final game will pit No. 1 Notre Dame against No. 2 Alabama with the Irish seeking their first national title since 1988 and the Tide aiming for their third in four seasons.
Before then, we'll see lots of entertaining fare through the holidays with Texas A&M and Johnny Manziel - fresh off making Heisman history - face former Big 12 rival Oklahoma. Among other marquee matchups, Kansas State and Oregon meet in the Fiesta Bowl, and Barry Alvarez returns to the sideline as Wisconsin faces Stanford in the Rose Bowl.
Once all the gorging is over, however, fans will forced into hibernation with the next game eight months away.
